Very accommodating and friendly, stayed in cabin #1, wonderful cabin, very clean, beds were actually comfortable! Will definitely stay here again on my next WV adventure!
Absolute best place ever. Perfect to get away with the family. I go there every year with my family and we have the best time. The rangers are very friendly. I look forward to this trip every time. Just love it.
We Loved this park and those who run it. this place is by far the most welcoming of all the state parks/forest that we have visited. We stayed a couple of days here. Another great stop for our West Virginia State Parks V.I.P.P. star!

We stayed in a cabin and absolutely loved the rustic atmosphere and the lack of cellular and internet made for a peaceful getaway. The only downside was not being told in advance that the showers are coin operated and it is quite a drive to go for quarters, with everything coin operated it would be nice if they had a change machine on site. We plan to return soon.
